I work individually with adults and young people and can additionally offer family sessions and mediation. I can provide monthly clinical supervision to therapists working with adults and young people.
I am an Integrative Counsellor with over 10 years of experience. I aim to offer my clients a chance to explore their thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental, safe, and supportive environment. My integrative approach allows me to draw from a range of theoretical models; which means I can apply appropriate techniques where necessary.
My practice is informed by the Humanistic Perspective, Person Centred Approach and Attachment & Developmental Theories. I use Psychodynamic, Existential and Gestalt skills in my work.
With the option of using alternative materials, your counselling experience need not be limited to talking therapies.
My many thousands of hours of client contact have addressed depression, low mood, mental and emotional disorders, loss, grief and bereavement, illness, relationships, gender identity and sexuality, family issues, parenting, neglect, OCD, disordered eating, self-harming, bullying, social issues, low self-esteem, debt and substance misuse.
My experience, understanding, and empathy are broad ranging. I can be approached on all presenting issues; we can discuss an onward referral if I am unable to help.
